We want to create a space where you can find more information about craft beer. Also F&B businesses with no prior experience with craft beer might find an opportunity here to create their own brand of beer.

Our Story

We are three passionate young entrepreneurs who love craft in all forms.

The ancestry of the original brewing duo goes way back. Pavol and Andy have known each other since 2011. Their friendship developed through passion for basketball. As they both were born in the Slovak part of former Czechoslovakia, the kingdom of beer, these two young Slovaks may proudly say the word beer is imprinted in their blood.

Andy’s adventurous spirit has led him to Saigon, Vietnam, in 2011, with no other plans than traveling and tasting the amazing local cuisine. At that time, there were not many quality beers around, but consumption per capita of the commercial beer was as high as back in Slovakia. Growing demand for something new was present. The rising tourism and trends leaning towards quality and trying something new gave great opportunities for new brands to emerge. Fuzzy Logic, Pasteur Street, Saigon Cider, LAC and TeTe were established and somewhat quickly shifted from homebrewing and garage businesses to form a serious microbrewery industry. Andy’s molecular biology background, creativity, engineering skills and courage has let him daringly start a homebrewing ‘balcony’ project of his own, Three on a Bike. This project originally started with one other Slovak, Martin, and one New Zealander, Lauren, although, both later departed this project to search for different paths and endeavours in Vietnam.

This is where Pavol enters the story. He came to Vietnam in 2015 for a holiday. Based on discussions with Andy, he has seen how fantastic the far east actually was. In late 2016 he returned back home to complete his graduate studies at the University in Bratislava. Shortly after he joined Andy in Saigon to fully experience life here and to assist in a business start-up, with no great ideals or goals. This was quickly changing. The more beer they brewed, and the more people appreciated their product, the more engaged and hungry he got. Along with the growing passion, the goal has appeared on the horizon.

Furthermore, in mid 2017, after a rather successful year and a half of brewing, attending numerous craft beer festivals and engaging with the community, we joined Winking Seal as their brewers and partners. We also sold the intellectual property of Three on a Bike to this newly started brand.
